This was my first official bridal collection, which I made made in collaboration with my boss, Ken Brant, from Mizane Jewellers. The piece was for the PlatAfrica jewellery design compertion of 2014. The theme for the year, was Chinese Bridal jewellery. I decided to use the Chinese Hibuscus flower as inspiration, as a flower represents what marriage will give birth to. Starting as a closed bud and eventually, blooming into a beautiful flower to be appreciated.
